Dr. Kennon Cox graduated high school from Monett, MO in 2010.  He attended Missouri State University in Springfield where he met his wife, Allie.  After graduating MSU he went to Tahlequah, OK to complete his Doctor of Optometry degree at Northeastern State University where he was fortunate to practice advanced procedures.  Dr. Cox specializes in diabetic eye care, cataracts, glaucoma, foreign body removal, and specialty contacts.  He did rotations at rural eye clinics and the VA hospital in Muskogee, OK.  Upon graduation, he worked at Complete Family Eyecare in Carbondale, IL from 2019-2021.

Dr. Cox and his wife have two beautiful children, Daniel "DK" born in 2017 and Mary Jo "MJ" born in 2021.  He and his wife are active church members.  Dr. Cox enjoys time with his family, sports, and hiking.  He and his family are very excited to join the Farmington community and our clinical team!

Dr. Street graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management and Organizational Behavior and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in December 1995. He then graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2000 with a Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry. His rotations during his last year of Optometry school gave him a broad range of experience that he is proud to be able to provide to his patients. He was trained in ocular disease management of many conditions including treating eye infections, removal of foreign body or debris that gets into the eye, monitoring and co-managing cataract surgery, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, any many others. He also has up to date training on contact lenses, laser surgery co-management, pediatric optometry, and low vision rehabilitation. 

Dr. Street began practicing optometry in Poplar Bluff, MO upon graduation. After two years of practicing there, he had the opportunity to move to his hometown, Farmington, and became partners with Dr. Shelton Sago in August 2002. Dr. Street bought out Dr. Sago in 2017 and is now the sole owner of the practice. Dr. Street also works for a company called Corizon where he provides eye care to the Missouri Department of Corrections Inmates. He is also on Staff at the Missouri Department of Mental Health to provide vision services to their patients. In addition, Dr. Street has worked as a consultant for a contact lens company call Vistakon (a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson). Dr. Street works with Vistakon to help test new contact lens technology and to launch new contact lens product releases. 

Dr. Street married his wife Jennifer on July 1, 2000. Jennifer is also a Farmington native and has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis School of Business. They have a son Grayson Tanner Roth Street who was born in January 2007. They are members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Farmington. 

Dr. Street is a member of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce, American Optometric Association (AOA), the Missouri Optometric Association (MOA), the Southeast Optometric Society, Beta Sigma Kappa (an honors optometric fraternity), and Beta Gamma Sigma (a honors business fraternity) and a member of the National Rifle Association. 

Dr. Street is an avid golfer, fisherman, and enjoys antique cars and guns. He is also an amateur carpenter and enjoys working with his hands. Dr. Street always has some type of project that is going on. He designed the cabinet layout and tile floor layout that was done in our frame room display when we remodeled our office.
